A2 is a collaboration between Alit Kreiz & Anton Mirto created in 1999, London. Together and apart, they create, perform in and direct unique performance projects, which aim to interrogate the human experience. Projects take place in diverse spaces and often involve local people, from where the work is made, in challenging research and presentation.
As artists they seek process-led approaches to practice; interaction and integration across arts forms, space, time, materials and the body, for which they can find new emotive vocabularies, readings and relationships for, whilst keeping performative exchanges real and alive.
We believe in the value and the authenticity every individual can contribute to performative art.
The creative process upon which we engage is never less important than the final work and is often integrated in the form itself.
